Make That Five

Fitting in as much writing as I can during “down times” in my day is paying off; I finished work on a fifth short story today. Once that’s proofread, it’ll head on out, and I’ll have 5 stories in the mail (do we still use that phrase for stories out for submission?) at once. That’s a great feeling.

To be fair, I’m finishing up work left in states of incompleteness; I didn’t write a new story soup to nuts in 24 hours (although I have done that in the past). That doesn’t mean this is less of a victory. I’m proud of circling back around to Heinlein’s second rule, finish what you write.
